The Indian Army has released the official notification for Short Service Commission (SSC) Technical – 67th Course (Men) Recruitment 2026. Through this recruitment drive, the Indian Army aims to fill approximately 350 vacancies across various engineering disciplines such as Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, and other specialized streams.
Eligible unmarried male candidates aged 20 to 27 years with a B.E./B.Tech degree (final-year students also eligible) can apply online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The online application process starts on 07 January 2026 and ends on 05 February 2026.
Selected candidates will undergo 49 weeks of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya, starting October 2026. During training, candidates will receive a stipend of ₹56,100 per month, and after commissioning, they will be appointed as Lieutenant with a pay scale of ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 plus allowances.

Educational Qualification

Must possess B.E./B.Tech degree in notified Engineering streams from a recognized Indian university/institution under relevant Acts (UGC, AICTE, IIT, NIT, IIIT).

Final year engineering students are eligible, provided they submit proof of passing by 01 October 2026 and degree certificate within 12 weeks of training commencement.

Candidates who obtained degrees from foreign universities are not eligible.

Engineering stream name must exactly match the notified stream in the official notification.
