Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 12th, 10th, or 8th standard from a recognized board.

• Minimum qualification for Anganwadi Helper: Matriculation (10th pass).

• If no matriculate candidate is available in the Panch/Ward, 8th pass candidates may be considered.

Domicile & Residence

• Applicant must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

• Candidate must be a resident of the Electoral Ward where the Anganwadi Centre (AWC) is located.

• Name in the voter list of the concerned ward will be treated as proof of residence.

• In case of dispute, a residence certificate issued by the concerned SDM will be accepted.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 35 Years

• Upper Age Relaxation: As per government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen
